Seven days of creation, rest and community on the shore of Lake Atitlán — where sound, land and people compose something together.
Echo Sanctuary is a intentional gathering for musicians, producers and sound-curious travellers who want to create somewhere the outside world can't reach them.
For seven days, Granja Tzikin becomes a working studio suspended between volcanoes and water. Mornings are for craft — recording, arranging, mixing, playing together. Afternoons open into the land: swimming, hiking the terraces above Tzununá, communal meals grown a few steps from the kitchen. Evenings close in circle, where the day's work is shared, not performed.
Everyone leaves with new material, new ears, and people they'll keep making music with long after the lake is behind them.
Sebuky and Liane lead every session in person — no rotating faculty, no pre-recorded modules. You work directly with them for the full seven days.

Sebuky's musical path began at eight years old in a conservatory in Quito, then took root in Barcelona through self-taught flute and folk traditions. It has since woven through Celtic music from Galicia and Ireland, Andean sound from Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia, and the rhythms of Colombian Caribbean and Pacific folklore.
With nine years producing in Ableton Live, he's built a sonic language that fuses organic instrumentation with electronic design — carried to stages from Ozora in Hungary to Scorpios in Mykonos, across four albums and counting.

Co-founder and lead producer of Aluna Project for over eight years, Liane's work is shaped by her Angolan roots, nature, and spiritual traditions from across cultures. She is devoted to string instruments — charango, guitar, cavaquinho — which give her arrangements their warmth and ancestral resonance.
Her process blends traditional instrumentation, layered vocals and field recordings into something fluid and mystical: each release conceived as its own ritual journey.
A living outline rather than a fixed script — mornings hold the craft, afternoons hold the land, evenings hold each other.
Welcome at Granja Tzikin, settling into your space, sunset orientation walk along the lake shore, and an opening circle to set intentions for the week.
Audio vs. MIDI, interface and microphone setup, building your project templates, and an open Q&A on workflow — followed by free time on the water.
Microphone technique, phase and field recording out on the terraces — capturing the sounds of Tzununá directly into your sessions.
Song development, storytelling through arrangement, and finding your own sonic palette — paired with an afternoon hike above the lake.
A guided master class on mixing with Sebuky and Liane — reverb, space, sends versus inserts, and building depth without losing warmth.
Preparing your tracks for the world: mastering fundamentals, release strategy, and a closing sharing circle around the fire.
Slow breakfast, final goodbyes, and travel out from Granja Tzikin with a finished body of work.
